About Lauren

I'm Lauren Leibowitz, a newyorker.com copy editor and senior web producer. Sometimes I write ad copy for The New Yorker's digital consumer-marketing efforts. In past lives I've written, assigned, and edited TV, streaming, and general-entertainment content for Thrillist; copy-edited for nymag.com, where I specialized in Vulture content; contributed restaurant and bar listings for nymag.com; covered the fashion beat for The Huffington Post; written features for Gothamist, Mic, Bedford & Bowery, Teen Vogue, and The Creators Project; and copy-edited for a diverse roster of clients, including Eater, Lucky Peach, and various book authors. In my spare time, I enjoy long bike rides to the beach and cleaning my apartment.
